What we take, and how to get the best price

If it's on this list, we'll quote on it. If you're not sure, send a photo and ask.

Our core business. We strip and granulate cable in-house, recovering up to 97% of the copper. Graded C1 to C4 depending on copper content.

Keep cable separate from other scrap and cut off steel plugs or lugs where you can. Sorted loads get a better grade.

Motors, alternators and starter motors all carry a lot of copper winding. We buy them by weight, working or not.

Drain any oil from pumps and gearboxes before pickup.

Solar and battery upgrades leave a lot of old inverters behind. We'll take them off your hands.

Make sure units are isolated and disconnected by a licensed electrician before collection.

Clean aluminium is worth more than mixed. We take both.

Remove glass, rubber and steel screws where you can. Clean aluminium gets the best rate.

Lead acid batteries shouldn't go to landfill. We collect them and send them on to licensed battery recyclers.

Keep batteries upright and don't drain or open them. If any are cracked or leaking, tell us before pickup.

Changeovers leave old units full of copper and aluminium. We take them as they come off the wall.

Units must have refrigerant recovered by a licensed technician before we collect them.
